The Wisconsin Rapids Area Habitat for Humanity (WRAHFH) was formed in 1992. It is served by a local board of directors.

We are affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races, and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Together, we make the world a better place!

What We Do:

WRAHFH partners with families in need, volunteer workers, and local businesses to build an affordable house.

Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, and they are financed with affordable, no-interest loans.

The homeowners' monthly mortgage payments, along with material and financial donations and volunteer workers, are used to build still more Habitat houses.

Thank you sponsors and affiliates! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

We wish to thank the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters for hosting a fundraiser for our organization. Without community support our mission would be much more difficult, if not impossible.

Words of Wisdom
I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.
- Edward Everett Hale

Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.
